Recognized for her expertise in internal medicine and evidence-based medicine, Dr. Daniella Zipkin contributes to several medical journals as a peer reviewer, including American Journal of Managed Care, Annals of Internal Medicine, Teaching and Learning in Medicine, Pediatrics, and Journal of General Internal Medicine. At present, Dr. Daniella Zipkin lives and works in North Carolina and serves as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Duke University Medical Center.

Engaging in numerous presentations since 2000, Dr. Daniella Zipkin has given lectures and led discussions at medical conferences and events across the United States. Among her first talks, “Propagation of the Hidden Curriculum: Medical Slang,” explored the use of medical jargon, and the influence it has on the culture of medicine. In her prior role as an Attending Physician with California Pacific Medical Center (CMPC), Dr. Zipkin participated in numerous speaking engagements from 2003 to 2006. She served as a speaker and panelist on topics ranging from evidence-based medicine to ethics in the realm of physicians and pharmaceutical companies.

Throughout her career, Dr. Zipkin functioned as an instructor, faculty preceptor, mentor, advisor, and facilitator. Working with medical students and faculty at prestigious institutions such as University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine, CMPC, New York University and Duke, Dr. Zipkin demonstrates a dedication to furthering the medical profession. Aside from her career, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughters. Dr. Zipkin takes great pleasure in athletics and the outdoors, and likes to snowboard and play beach volleyball.
